In last week’s blog, I told you all that adventures are on the way. Well, adventure came quickly for Violet and Daisy; the Traveling Schnauzer Sisters! It sounds like a vaudeville act – Ladies and Gentlemen, a big hand for The Flying Von Schnorkenheimers!
While no airline travel was necessary, both ladies were flying high – Violet went to the Hamptons with her Momma, Barbara, and Daisy had a weekend retreat – “treat” being the operative word – a sleepover at Green Isle, with Auntie Yvonne.
Violet loves long car rides, so she jumped on-board the Hampton bound car with Barbara, who reported back with praises of Violet’s lady-like behavior. Violet is no stranger to Southampton and all the refinement and experiences that go with this luxury weekend; shopping in the Village, long walks on the beach, and of course, many many treats to enjoy and savor. Soon a 10-year-old, Violet has become the perfect traveling companion, with her own luggage to boot.
Yvonne sent videos of Ivy and Daisy playing, running, tugging and loving the poolside retreat that only Green Isle can offer. Although located moments away from my home, Rosebrook Gardens, Green Isle offers the best amenities. – click on the link below and watch those Schnauzers run!
I am so fortunate and blessed to have such wonderful fur baby-sitters for my dog-ters, and they are fortunate to be so well-loved! There were actually a few contenders to take care of Miss Daisy, but Yvonne won the day, after much discussion. In contrast, Violet and Barbara have an understanding. They left for the weekend on Thursday.
