My martians,

February is here, the sun is shining and the dormant gardens await the arrival of spring.  New beginnings rest within the gardens as do they in our hearts.   This year, 2020, is all about seeing clearly: the past, the present and the future. And with that said, nothing captures the memories of the past, the moments of the present and the creative medium of the future than art.  Let me explain.

It’s been 3 months since Violet crossed over the rainbow bridge and although she is deeply missed she is also very much alive in our hearts and in the memories she has left behind.

Thanks to a very talented local artist Antonio Munoz, from Antonio M. Studio, Violet will now also be forever immortalized as a colorful bundle of love that we knew her to be. He is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and now resides in the United States. His work combines the allure of bespoke contemporary work for interiors, with the sentimental value of silhouettes. As I learned from his website, in the case of his silhouettes of  children, and adults, his pieces are a celebration of what he calls ‘the warrior mask,’ the face that carries us through this earthly labyrinth. His creative patterns and color schemes represent infinite possibilities and pure potential. The joy of being alive that is both sophisticated and uniquely infused with a signature joie de vivre.

You can tell that he is inspired by the exploration of vibrant color stories, stylish patterns, and iconic silhouettes.  He creates contemporary visuals on acrylic that are full of playful personality.

I think his custom pieces have a lively graphic allure that would distinctively complement any home décor.

So as the spring bulbs begin to burst this new art will forever capture the vibrant personally and colorful mini schnauzer that Violet was, and now forever will be in what I call a forever legacy piece of art.

Antonio has developed 5 styles, and I need your help. Now it’s your turn to vote for your favorite portrait:
