Mar’s Thanksgiving Stuffing to Remember

This recipe is so easy that anyone can make it. The addition of the oysters makes it really special. I guarantee that this is one tasty Thanksgiving stuffing that will definitely get gobbled up.
– 1 16oz package of Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix
– 2 sticks of unsalted butter
– 1 cup of diced onion
– 1 pint small oysters, drained and chopped
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon pepper
– 1/2 cup chopped parsley
– 1 cup chopped celery with leaves
– 1 1/2 cups organic chicken stock

Melt butter in skillet, add onion and celery and saut̩ for about 5 minutes till translucent. Add salt, pepper, parsley and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Add stuffing mix, oysters, and chicken stock and mix thoroughly. Put in buttered baking pan and bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Makes about 10 cups of stuffing.

Serve along with your turkey and enjoy.
