
Mar’s Thanksgiving Stuffing to Remember
This recipe is so easy that anyone can make it. The addition of the oysters makes it really special. Mar guarantees that this is one tasty Thanksgiving stuffing that will definitely get gobbled up.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 16oz package of Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix
- 2 sticks of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of diced onion
- 1 pint small oysters, drained and chopped
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- 1 cup chopped celery with leaves
- 1½ cups organic chicken stock
PREPARATION:
Melt butter in skillet, add onion and celery and sauté for about 5 minutes till translucent. Add salt, pepper, parsley and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Add stuffing mix, oysters, and chicken stock and mix thoroughly. Put in buttered baking pan and bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes about 10 cups of stuffing.
Serve along with your turkey and enjoy.
