The MARberry Cocktail

on Thu, 11/24/2011 - 12:04

This drink is so refreshing—and beautiful when you freeze blueberries in the ice cubes. I like to serve it in straight-from-the-freezer MARtini glasses. The dark blue berries floating in a bath of rosy red cranberry cocktail is simply MARvelous. If you chill the ingredients first or keep them in the refrigerator, the ice won’t melt as fast. And with the berry ice cubes, no other garnish is needed. Simply make the berry cubes any time in advance.

Makes a large pitcher, enough for 6-8 cocktails:

1 ¼ cups Kra-Ze Vodka & Berry Liqueur
4 cups of Ocean Spray cranberry/raspberry 100% juice (no sugar added)
1 bottle sparking mineral water

Pour all of the ingredients into a glass pitcher. Drop 2 berry ice cubes into each MARtini glass and pour the drink over the ice. Voila! It doesn’t get any easier or more delicious than this.

Want to get more Kra-Ze? Swap the blueberries for blackberries, raspberries, cranberries—or my trick—a little of each. Mix the berries and feel more merry!

And there you have it.

Hi Mar--I tried this last night for my company before dinner. Made a pitcher and my friends thought I was so clever to have the berry ice cubes! My husband really liked that vodka so I'm sure we will take it to a party soon. I am going to try your hot chocolate recipe from your book next. Thanks!

The Marberry concoction is just too smooth. The blend of cranberry with the "Four-Berry" or some call it the "Berry Berry" Vodka Liqueur product is "DYNAMITE".... So, So, So very smooooth. It is refreshing as the carbination adds an additional twist to the whole quaff. This is a drink for any pallet. Our hat is off to you! Your Kra-ze Friends
